Man remembers his mum who was stabbed to death by his dad years ago to encourage people to rise above difficult experiences

             
On March 21 1997, Nick Banks' mother was stabbed to death by his father. He stabbed her 13 times before Nick's sister while Nick was sleeping. Two days ago, on what would have been his mother's 52nd birthday, he shared her photos and wrote:

"My Father Stabbed My Mother To Death 13 Times In Front of My Sister While I Was Asleep In The House. Today She Would Have Been 52 Years Old.
